Will PICTAR work with iPhone 7?
From the information coming from the professional media outlets (as you know, Apple are quite secretive) we assume that the iPhone 7’s dimensions should be quite similar to the iPhone 6s’. And even if not, we can compensate minor changes in the 7’s body, and we have enough time to implement the required adjustments to make it compatible with PICTAR. Can I order more than a single PICTAR (or add any other item) in order to save some of the shipment cost?
Yes. Here’s how it goes: Choose a reward and add the remaining cost (of the additional item) to the total pledge while checking out. When the projects ends, we will send each and every backer a survey asking him to choose his rewards according to the credit he have. in any case, we will provide support to solve any problem. Can I use my iPhone case with PICTAR?
PICTAR’s semi-open body design doesn’t allow to connect a case while attaching the iPhone. The only exception is the iPhone 6 / 6s that can be fitted with a silicon case - similar to Apple’s original “Silicon Case”. Does PICTAR’s manual mode control shutter speed and aperture like “normal” cameras?
Not too many people know that ,but the iPhone’s camera (actually - its lens) doesn’t have mechanical aperture control at all. Light adjustments are made by changing ISO numbers (sensor sensitivity if you wish) and the shutter speed. The iPhone does it automatically. Dear EB backer, Kickstarter’s system is not flexible enough for such fine adjustments. Good news are that we have a solution: Step 1: Please don’t change a thing at the moment. If two grips are set side by side and both iPhones are set and ready to take photos, if a photo is taken with one using the PICTAR, the other iPhone will NOT take a photo if it is just sitting ready with no one touching the button?
Here’s the situation: Right now our smart App team (they are… it’s scary!) are refining the system. Its already great but we are seeking perfection. Since we are using high-frequency tone system that generates voice, it will - if positioned close enough, operate a neighbor device. How close? They are working to make it as minimal as possible so it won’t interfere any normal usage. We have enough time to debug the system so we are confident that it will be almost bullet-proof. What’s nice about App’s in general, is that it’s easy for us (developers) to upgrade them constantly so PICTAR users can enjoy better performance simply by downloading it into their devices. Why isnt PICTAR PLUS compatible with both 6/6s and 6+/6s+?
To fully understand this answer please take a look at the animation showing the different iPhone models that are attached to PICTAR. You can find it on our project page. The moving arm that holds the Phone safe in place is supported by a spring that is calibrated to apply enough tension to avoid the phone from dropping. We are not sure (we are currently running some tests) that when attaching a smaller iPhone to the PICTAR PLUS model, the arm can apply enough force. Until we’ll have an approved test, we are not recommending to connect smaller iPhone models to the PICTAR PLUS model. Does the Pictar will use its own app to take photos as against the default iPhone camera app ?

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
